"Do animals have rights? After reading this delightful book you might reconsider. Most of us view mice as undesirable vermin. However, Willie, a small house mouse, proves to be intelligent and resourceful as he avoids the efforts of the Professor and his wife to rid their home of Willie.

Although this is an incredibly funny book (the final letter is the funniest item I have ever read) it also touches on important and difficult issues about fair treatment to animals. A terrific read."

NANCY DUNBAR

I ignored him and proceeded to create the mousetrap using cheese. It was quite simple to make, and I had one erected right away. The trick was to balance the aluminum foil pan on the L-shaped bait holder. Soon, I had two traps set up on the linoleum kitchen floor against the baseboard.

"There!" I announced, feeling proud of myself for my creativity. "That ought to do it. If four Victor traps, two Steve Smith traps, and Pestchaser won't do it, I don't know what will."

"We'll see," said my disbelieving husband.
